Bachelor of Digital Innovation If you are looking for a degree program that will enable you to work on cutting-edge solutions for technical and creative projects, then look no further than CQUniversity Australia's Bachelor of Digital Innovation. The Bachelor of Digital Innovation is a three year program that prepares women and men of all ages for a career in the digital content industries and provides a combination of creative and technical knowledge focused on innovation, necessary for digital developers, creators, evaluators, researchers and producers. Graduates apply and manage digital content tools and technologies in communication, education, creative production, research or commercial and creative industry contexts. What is digital innovation? Computer mediated communication is relevant in most aspects of public and private contemporary life. The convergence of mediums and technologies means that business and entertainment that used to be conducted and enjoyed using dedicated devices and environments now use some combination of computer and software. Increasingly these digital devices are getting smaller, more mobile, more interlinked and more ubiquitous. Equipping students with the knowledge and skills to be able to meet the challenges involved in the design and production of interfaces and content for the next and future generations of these devices and their software is what the Bachelor of Digital Innovation is all about. A unique learning experience This degree program provides students with a fundamentally flexible skill set that will enable them to adapt as technology and software changes. Learning objectives are oriented toward industry requirements for: graphic design and web design; intranet and internet document production and database maintenance; information visualisation, 2D and 3D animation, digital video and audio for the web, games, and entertainment. Students learn to take individual responsibility for time management and how to think critically about creative and production processes. They learn to work collaboratively in teams on real-life projects wherever possible. They are given training and practice in project management and documentation. They also have the opportunity to gain experience using new technologies such as blogs, wikis and collaborative tools effectively. |
